Default What age did your children grow out of their day nap?

My daughter was about 3 when she started to not sleep every day. My son is only 26 months, but already showing signs of growing out of his sleep

DD is 2.5 and hasnt napped during the day for about 6mths (except at daycare sometimes). I miss my rest during the day but love the early bedtimes that result!!!

Hayden is 3 in December, and stopped his nap at home about 4-5 months ago, but still has it at daycare. Sometimes on our home days, if we have a really big day out he will still fall asleep on the way home in the car, but otherwise he doesn't do them.

Makes no difference to his bedtime either! He goes to bed at 8pm whether he naps or not!!

DS2 is 3.5 and has a nap most days. Except at daycare and comes home and goes straight to bed
DD is 20 months and I am terrified of the day she doesn't want to sleep!

DS is 20 months and could definitely drop it, he doesn't nap everyday. Battled with him for one and a half hours before giving up today.

DS1- the day sleep became such an issue by the time he was 2 and 3 months, so we abandoned it then. Now he is 6 and has a day sleep again on weekends, if he wants to stay up 'late' and watch Funniest Home Videos lol.
DS2- is 4 and still has a 2hr sleep, except on daycare days when he has no sleep.

my first dd stopped around her second birthday.

I found it made life easier not to have to fit in the daytime nap.

She showed signs of stopping for about 4 months prior to actually stopping though.
