    Default IVF & AMH Levels

Don't freak out, I was told when I was 26 that my amh was 1.5! I was in shock!!! Pushed into ivf....

Do some research, ask for further testing, I ended up m.c from that cycle.... BUT I have a blood disorder on top of to many nk cells...
Pitty it took 3 m.c's for me to turn into a nagging demanding woman....

Even with all the downers, I had 12 eggs that ivf cycle... Science is trial and error unfortunately...

Found out I could rectify my problem with clexayne and prednisone (hurts like hell for 12 weeks)

Anyway, this story ends well.... I'm 29 and 37 weeks pregnant....

Don't back down and don't give up

Can I just ask...are you all having IVF because of low AMH or are there other issues?

My AMH is low 5 (31 year old) and I see FS in April - will they get me to go IVF straight away??

Hi ladies, my AMH was 9 at age 33 1/2. I am now just 35. My DD was born in November 2012 from my third IVF cycle. My IVF was, however, mostly required as a result of tubal factors - the low AMH did, however, mean I got less eggs. I got 9 eggs on the first fresh cycle, the second cycle was a frozen transfer, and I got only 5 eggs on the third cycle. Only 2 of those eggs fertilised, and I transferred both of them. That cycle was successful! As they say (and you may well be sick of hearing this!) it's all about quality, not quantity!

    Default IVF & AMH Levels

    Hey hun,

I'm 31 and my amh was 9.5 so I was put on a slightly higher dose but overstimulated and had like 24follicles waiting to have eggs collected!! Hence my ovaries were huge and I was forced to cancel and start the whole cycle again on a lower dose.
Good news thou cause although we only got 6 eggs next time, 3 made it and we put bk one and I'm now 18wks!!! So 2 on ice

Don't worry you will be fine.

    Hi
just came back from the specialist who advised that I have a low ovarian reserve of 7... though due to my age and the fact that everything else is in 'order' shouldnt worry about it for now?
i am worried, cant stop thinking about it...
should i consider going straight down the iVF path.... instead of waiting....

    Hi Everyone!!
It has been fantastic hearing all the brilliant success stories.
The specialist didnt seem overly worried as I was still 'young'
the problem with me is that i dr Google which is wrong, but gosh i cant help it.
    Do they all recommend IVF?
He told me that I should try naturally for now but i am concerned as the time is ticking......

    Hi Nattie,
We have been trying for approx. 8 months.
No other ideas that they could see, everything else is clear.
Im ovulating, hubbie is fine/// but yeah....

I dont know about anything else, he didnt give me any further information///

Man i wish that they would discuss further rather than the 5 minute consultations....
