Default Would you Order a massively over-sized onsie for a coming home outfit?

As soon as DH & I started TTC he asked for bubs to come hoe in one of these http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/c754/

Being a Good Geek wife who was I to say no? Now we are looking at ordering and they only have sizes in 6mthly age brackets and only in shorties. Being born in march I could understand maybe wearing it home on a hopefully warm day *crosses fingers* abut then maybe not again till september/october so maybe 6 mths. As the 6mth size is to fit upto 6 months do you think a newborn would look too out of place in a 12mth size? The trip home is only like 2 minutes (not kidding) It wouldbe easier to walk but not the day after giving birth (I am being optimistic) I would love for him/her to get more then 1 wear out of the onesie.

I really don't think you need to be trying to get a lot of wear out of such a special item. If it were me, i'd buy the smallest to wear home / take pics in, then pack it away in the keepsakes box
