Default Thank god for Hi-5 and Sesame Street! Part Vent

I'm so tired, laying on the floor with the electric babysitter today. I don't know what I would do if DD didn't love Hi-5 and Abby Caddabby so much!
DH has gone to WA for his new job leaving me to pack up and clean the house, organise the transport of furniture, dogs and me and bubs. I'm living with my mum to make it easier but mum works away so bubs is getting watched by my step brother after she's asleep so I can go and clean/etc for a few hours.
On top of that, DD has decided that not only is she cutting back to two day sleeps, they're gong to be short (20 mins to an hour) and her day is starting at 530am instead of 730.
Does anyone have good lazy parenting ideas for an 8mo?

Have you tried baby wearing, if you put her in something like an Ergo close to nap time, she may sleep longer and you may get more done. Sorry!! my only tip!!

Thanks, KyD I wish she would sleep in a carrier sometimes, but she sleeps in her bed or pram. No sleepy cuddles in our house
She had a couple of good naps yesterday and one good one today so I'm feeling a little more rested. Hopefully she settles into two good naps everyday soon.
