    Default Oh poop....

Clearly I'm so out of the loop but I have just discovered that the Maternity immunisation allowance has been canned. That sucks, I would really have liked to get some more money for doing something that I will be doing anyway in 13 months time (we are very poor, this would have been very exciting, stop judging me).

Yeah I know, sucks. It got cancelled like 2 weeks before we would have qualified for our first payment.

Don't they know that the cash that come incrementally in our child's early years are the only reason we breed .

From my understanding it's been built into FTB A, and so you'll still get the equivalent in the money, but it's stretched over a longer time. I think...

Not sure if the payments have gone up but it's linked to your supplements the year your child turns 18mths and 4yrs, if thier status is not up to date those financial years you miss out on the whole supplement.

Well that totally sucks for people who don't get any other benefits. It was the only supplement I did get other than the child care rebate. And yes hubby and I are so lucky to earn enough money to not receive any benefits but before we can spend any of our "huge" income we pay "huge" taxes which leaves me still struggling so a little bit extra was always a nice surprise.
