    Default Woven wrap suggestions?

I'm looking for recommendations for a woven wrap, Australian based, under $100, I want to back carry my 10kg 7 month old, light fabric suitable for qld summer.... And pretty colours.... (Actually should put "pretty" first. Lol)

Any brands/websites? Point me in the right direction?

I can't help you out too much, I'm still figuring out back wrapping.

Your best bet is to ask in the baby wearing group on fb - http://www.facebook.com/groups/bwbss/

Other wise here are a couple of good places to start looking -

    Love woven wrap here

I would recommend going for something 100% cotton. It's hard to get anything for under $100, but there are a couple of brands you can get for just over $100 new. I'm not sure that I can name brands here because I'm a vendor, but if you look around the websites given above you will see what prices are like, and you can always ask questions about any of them Or you could try second hand, there's a babywearing buy-sell-swap page on facebook. I hope that helps a little!

Oh cool thanks for the advice. I've just sold one of my prams so I have the money for a wrap. And increased my budget to "under $150 - as near to $100 as possible" lol

Katelyn is 7.5 months and over 10kgs. Mainly for back carrying but I want her to be on the front for feeding.

Also Living in qld coming up to Sumner I need as light as possible.

    And ideally in pink. Lol.

Also I walk a lot. So she does often spend an hour a day in the ergo because she doesnt like the pram but I really want something I can put her high up on my back so she can see, she arches back in the ergo because she doesn't like being face-first into my back.

    Default Woven wrap suggestions?

I have bought from the website nurture nest. The last who owns it is extremely knowledgeable about baby wearing and has lots of woven wraps like didymos. You can email her for advice she is very helpful.
I just bought a Tula from her for my toddler and I love it. (Not a woven wrap more like an ergo but better lol)

Pretty. I love the look of the Zaras.

One thing to think about with Ellevills is that they have really long tapers, so they seem to wrap like a shorter wrap or you tie using the tapers which for me doesn't feel as secure (although lots of people do it so I'm sure it's just me)

I just realised I didn't give any helpful suggestions.

I love Vatanai for hot weather - I've got one that is still supportive enough for my almost 2 year old (providing I don't do a sloppy wrap job). This meets most of your criteria http://www.wovenwraps.com.au/product-p/vat07.htm

My BBSLen is relatively thin - it has fairly loose weave so it has pretty good airflow - I bought it new from Tinoki

My thinnest, coolest wrap is my Didymos Jim Salvia - its awesome in a back carry even with my 12+ kg boy. But it's green - I'm not sure if there is a girly equivalent.
