Default Found a baby wandering the roads

Toay, we found a baby around 1 year old walking around on the roads. We were coming to around a bout and a man was pulled over in the middle walking behind this baby. He waved us down and said he found this kid. So I said we would take over for him.

Gorgeous little thing he was. Tiny. My DP went to the only housethat looked like it had kids and asked if they had a litte boy. I stood back and waited. They were like "yes, we do" My DP is like Well he was walking around the streets.... DO you want him back? And the family didnt even seem to care. They just said thank you and took him.

Should I have called the cops or something???? It's not like its a quiet street and he is very lucky he wasnt killed.

I would have taken the kid to the police. How do you know that those people were even the parents of the kid? Since you know their address you should call DOCS/Police straight away to make a report and ask them to investigate further.

    I had a similar situation.
A little girl about 18 months was walking around completely naked on the road, we stopped and did a door knock. We ended up finding the house and her parents were having sex at the time and the front door was open. They didn't even apologise or thank us for finding her.

I'm still kicking myself that I didn't call DHS about it :/

    Absolutely. Better late than never.
Go get the address now, so you can give it to the police straight away.
