    Post Which maternity ward?

    Hi,
i need some opinnions, which would be the better option; Lyell McCewin Hospital or Womans and Childrens?
And is Private really better then Public?

This is my first and i'm very confused.

    any helps appreciated, thanks.

I don't know about those hospitals specifically but as far as public vs private we have been looking into it too and we've found that even with our health insurance covering a lot of the costs, we would be out of pocket A LOT if we go private. We have decided to go public based on that, because we will get most of the same services in a public hospital for free.

Hi. I was a private patient at women's and children's (my son was too premmie to go to the private hospital I was booked into). I was extremely happy with my time there. All of the staff were great. Saying that I believe the only difference between private and public was I got my own room and stayed in longer.
