Default Food Aversion & cooking shows during pregnancy

So I have a thing for watching Secret Meat business ( a cooking show about meat) not only for tips and tricks but also Chef Adrian is cute & a bit of a red head. I finally got a chance to watch the new season only to realise... My aversion to meat during the pregnancy is going to make this Impossible!

I watched him make one cut in the meat and had to change channels.

Has anyone else had to stop watching favorite cooking shows whilst pregnant?

I can't even watch adds for food without feeling sick! Last time everytime I KFC add would come on the tv I had to change channels, so I haven't been brave enough this time to watch a whole show about food! I did see the add for secret meat business though and it looks good!

Yes!! Early on I hated watching masterchef even though it was one if my favourite shows! Especially if raw meat was stacked up for a challenge on the tv!! Gross!!!

LOL! I thought this was just me!

I love cooking shows, hugh being one of my favs too! But I am struggling not with the shows, but some of the recipes. I am just not enjoying them as much as I was because other than spring rolls nothing is appealing at the moment!

Anytime i watched a cooking show or TV i had to shut my eyes if they used avocado..... It was the only thing that i felt sick just looking at. It even extended to the supermarket!

ive only just started eating it again and sometimes i still feel sick thinking about it.

I've had to stop eating thanks to my MS (cheeseburgers are the only thing I can stomach or keep down) but I don't mind cooking shows although I do only watch baking ones like Cake Boss etc ..

I couldn't look at any type of fish dish. 5 months after dd's birth and it still turns my stomach.
