We are just having a relaxing day. DS goes away tomorrow morning for a week as I have all afternoon shifts at work next week. It will be nice to have a quiet day to just myself tomorrow once he goes as I can sleep all I want haha.

I am still admiring how clean my house is from when I had my cleaner in on Friday. DS has been putting his toys away when he finished playing with them and nothing is out of place apart from a few dishes that need washing up.

Gotta get off the couch soon and cook dinner which is hot dogs. Nice and simple for us tonight

OP, I bow down to you for sewing. I used to know how but that was when I was in high school....wouldnt know the first thing about using a sewing machine anymore <img src="images/smilies/laughing.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Laughing" smilieid="88" class="inlineimg"

Green Mama, OMG that sounds delicious!!!!

Out To Pasture, nawww what a cutie!

LoCo, if you are done with your useless Thermomix I would gladly take it off your hands <img src="images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Biggrin" smilieid="95" class="inlineimg"

Im not doing much right now. DP and I are taking DS to the beach in an hour or so. Havent been in ages and its gorgeous weather here today. Going to be 34 tomorrow so we are considering taking DS to Penguin Island....none of us have been so could be fun. I am trying to convince myself I absolutely can handle a 45 min glass bottom boat cruise without having a panic attack <img src="images/smilies/laughing.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Laughing" smilieid="88" class="inlineimg"
I know I know im an idiot I'm going to use it all this week poor neglected thermi. London how awesome is our weather today woooo! Where is Penguin Island?

Its a 5min ferry ride from Rockingham. Unfortunately that ferry costs $13 We went to Rockingham beach this afternoon and drove further down to see where Penguin Island actually is. Looks like it could be an interesting way to spend an hour or 2.

London: My mother is always sewing. I can sew pretty awesomely too.. however my mother has decided that I do way too much around the house to sew and has taken over all my sewing.. mending is done the same day as item is washed, I ask for a dress once I cut it out (mum can't use big sewing table) it's made that day. The other day I asked for a liner for my peg basket as my pegs were falling through.. she made it while I was hanging the second load out. It's great.. but I do miss doing the work myself.

Anewme.. Mum recently bought a new sewing machine.. there is something special about that first opening.

I am sure if my brain was working I could reply to more people but it isn't I feel bad.

I am contemplating becoming a vegetarian for the rest of my pregnancy. If DH & I have one more fight about me not eating enough meat I am going to scream. I am not going to be totally against meat, but i want to top up my iron other then eating milo by the cup cause I rarely eat meat.. Infact in the last 5 days the only meat I have felt like was when I went to maccs for breaky this morning cause I needed a bacon & egg muffin.

Other then that I have decided that I need a second opinion on my sciatica diagnosis.. I don't think sciatica should be causing my leg to go numb so quick for so long it's getting worrying.

LoCo, hardly exotic from what Ive heard. Just a baron island with some penguins on it. Its pretty though...apparently. I'll let you know if we go Lol

Barefoot, my mum is a great sewer too. My grandmother was a seamstress so my mum picked all that up..me, not so much. Im sorry you are feeling bad and cant eat meat. I love meat so much, I cant imagine not being able to eat it. Hope you feel better soon.
