    Default 5kg Weight Loss Challenge!

I have a bit more than 5kg to lose.

I had the mirena in and gained 20kg in 3 months then I got it taken out. That was 2 years ago and I gained another 20kg since then. PCOS is definitely not my friend when it comes to my weight.

I started losing weight in October at 111.7kg and I am now 106kg.

My goal is to lose everything I have gained

    Default 5kg Weight Loss Challenge!

Congrats on your loss! I put on 24 kg when pregnant and have had lots of set backs, it's up and down but overall down. I'm pretty much at my pre pregnancy weight but would still like to lose a little more. My main goal though now is fitness and nutrition. What sort of a plan are you following?

    Default 5kg Weight Loss Challenge!

I stopped having soft drinks, I only drink water/coffee.

Stopped eating rice, pasta, bread. I have had it a few times since but it makes me bloat (within 5 mins of eating it) so I just don't eat it anymore and don't have any cravings.

Smaller portion sizes, I stop eating when I feel full and make sure to drink at least 1.5L water every day and walking more.

Portion size was my biggest problem! I'm going for a big walk tomorrow. Good luck!

Yeah at my goal, i wanted to be in a healthy weight range for my height so low 60's and im fitting into all my size 10 clothes now. yayayay

    No secret really.

Honestly im not dieting its a permanent thing and ive just been eating healthy and controlling portions. I never allow myself to get hungry by filling up on the right foods.

Just common sense stuff. Avoiding packaged and sweet and salty foods. I dont add sugar to cereal ill have banana instead. Meat serving size is no bigger than my palm.

I dont eat after dinner - i think thats made a huge huge difference as i used to snack alot at night

and my biggest tip - NO food is off limits!! I relax a bit on the weekends and allow myself treats so whatever ive been craving, i have. The old 80/20 rule so i just make sure i eat really well during the week. Its balanced.

    I havent even been exercising
