    Default Mastitis? Engorged breasts???

Shisles... I don't know if its mastitis engorged breasts or what.
DD is 6 months and doing great, this week she's started teething (I think) and has been shredding my nipples, they are sore but nothing dramatic I've kept feeding her. I woke up at 4:30am (yes thank u for that coz I really don't need sleep) and I was soaked and my breasts were full and hurt a bit. this has happened before and it usually is good after a feed or pump, so anyway DD is sound asleep so I pump, and nothing comes so I had to massage and squeeze milk (which is odd because I usually have a great flow) I manage 150ml but it took ages, felt great for 10 min and now I feel full again expeccialy on the left side. It's sore and hard and I'm worried its the start of something because I've had such a good run so far!
What do you think it is? And what should I do?

    Default Mastitis

I had mastitis 2 weeks ago now. It hurts. I likened it to my c-section pain it hurt that much. My boob was bright red on the sore area to. I was shivering one minute and sweltering the next. Can you offer that side first every feed to help? I had to do that along with antibiotics. I hope it's not mastitis.

It's not that bad... poor thing!! But what is it??! I mean it hurts just not enough to compare it to a csection... I don't know if I'm being dramatic or too accepting of pain... confused

Thanks ladies, feeling better today. Still a bit full and sore but not leaking all over. DD still likes to clamp down but I'm going to have to live with it I think.
