    I think we have the same hair....and the same cut although I don't straighten mine, i'm embracing the messy look
    I think i only embrace the messy look when it's long enough to tie it back.

    This is my cut as well but I do straighten the front, but most days not the back...it's a bit Robert Smith looking on those days...

    Mine has thinned since my surgery last year, but I noticed no change after kids. I got my hair cut short as a result, because I was always clogging up the vaccuum and drains with my hair, and also because I was scared of how bald I was getting.

    When my hair gets long, I tend to tie it up a lot and plait it for bed, because otherwise I wake up with massive knots (like birds nest thing). In Summer it just gets in my way and makes my head hot. I also found I'd always end up resting my handbag on part of it. Now that it's short, I don't really have to do much.

    I have no idea what hairstyle to recommend because I haven't dealt with your hair type. But good luck!
