Default 39 + 1 weeks, menstrual cramps at nighttime?

So the last two nights I've been waking up with period pains sporadically throughout the night, and in the morning while I lay there, only mild mind you. However once I gt up and start the day they Completley disappear! Has anybody else had this at all and do you think it will turn into anything? I've also had sharp pans in my inner thighs during the day but not much else so so ready to have my baby! Thanks xx

Thanks for posting OP, I'm 38 weeks and having the same problems. The pain takes my breath away, but disappears during the day.

I had insane period type pain in the lead up to having DS1. It was the only pain i got, no contractions or anything. He was born at 38 weeks.
