    Default In need of some advice, long story...

    I am after some advice on who is the best dr I should go to. Sorry it's a bit long. A little back ground, last year AF went missing for three months then I had two months of very heavy and painfull periods,then they went back to normal and I fell pregnant which resulted in a mc in december. (5 wks)Since then my cycle has been all over the place and I haven't had af for nearly 4 months. Which is hard when you want to ttc!My dr just gave me ad's as I was getting depressed due to other issues which are now getting sorted. I have been on them a month. She also gave me a referal to a fertility specialist but I am wondering is it really classed as a fertility problem or should I just go see my gyno? I would just love to know where af has gone and be able to have another bub. I have a referal for Dr Esler in Toowoomba but my ob/gyno is Dr Cerqui if anyone knows them. Thanks for your help

    I'm no fertility expert, but if I was having trouble conceiving and AF was irregular if want to know why before I started seeing a fertility doctor, a obgyn sound like the first step, perhaps is something you can sort out easily, I would tend to consider a fertility specialist a last resort.

    Most (if not all?) fertility specialists would already be obgyns wouldn't they?
