Default Intense pain in my abdomen and back while peeing?

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and just did a wee and towards the end got this intense pain in my lower abdomen on the right hand side which went around to my lower back. It was so bad that I was hunched over on the toilet. I also had a cramping pain in the same abdominal spot earlier today while trying to get up after sitting on the floor for a while. Do you think this is just muscular pain or maybe something else? I was thinking maybe a UTI but I've had no other symptoms...

I would guess a kidney infection. Go to the doctor. Infection causes damage to kidneys that can be irrepairable.

Sounds like it could be an upper UTI infection in your kidney. I had one 6 years ago.... It was not pleasant because I left it for a couple of days before ending up in hospital. Best you get checked out just in case. Hopefully it's nothing

I've had this before earlier in my pregnancy, and i asked my midwife and she said it could be from the bladder emptying so quickly it causes pain, as i also had no UTI symptoms. Mine wasn't severe though, but enough to take my breath away a little bit. I'd definitely still get it checked out though just incase it is a kidney infection as they can cause alot of problems in pregnancy.

Geez didn't even think it could be a kidney infection. I haven't had any more pain since but will head to the GP tomorrow, as I'm heading interstate on Tuesday morning for a 3-day work conference so need to get it sorted out before I go!
