    Loving all these cakes! I have dd 1st bday soon. Can anyone tell me where is a good online place to buy everything ill need fondant,tins etc I am planning on making a giant cupcake for cake smash and another cake which I have no idea where to start! Tia

    Emsy, can I ask how you did the buttercream icing with the blue flower on top? What nozzle did you use? I've tried looking online to find this technique but I had no idea what to call it!

    I use bakingpleasures.com for some things, but also have a local store I go too that sells a lot of baking items.

    Have done these two cakes too:

    Beloved...I just use a round tip...but quite a wide one...maybe 1cm? I'll take a photo for you. I start with it just inside the edge of the cake...pipe until it spreads to the edge, go around and then a smaller swirl on top and pull up in the middle

    I started by watching how the DC Cupcakes girls did it...you get the same effect pretty much
