    Default NSW rental question?

Does anyone know if there is a form you can download, fill out and issue to your real estate stating you're vacating the property?
I know in QLD you can dowload a form 13 (notice of intention to leave) from the RTA. Does NSW have anything similar?

If not, is it acceptable to give notice via email?

Yes but it's usually agency specific so go on their website and it'll be the Notice to Vacate form

Thanks. I had a look on their website but there is nothing. Hmm.. would an email be sufficient?

Try the NSW tenants union. Although if I recall correctly, the forms are also available on the consumer affairs website

Had a look on fair trading and tenants union and i don't think there is such a form in NSW.I ended up just emailing and will call today to make sure it's considered a sufficient form of notice.

Last time I did it, I sent an email and they asked me to send a written letter via post. Try with the email and wait the response from them.

I'm a bit worried that might be the case. I will be near my real estate later today so will check that the email is enough and if not i will go in and scribble the exact same thing on a piece of paper for them..lol
