    Default What the?! A mystery!

    Hi all

So I have a bit of an interesting story lol.

Back in the beginning of the year we found out we were expecting.. Went for the scan and couldn't see anything at all, ended up with a pregnancy of unknown location and was treated with methotrexate. Was told to wait 3 months before trying again. All good that passed and about 12 weeks ago got the bfp again! Excellent news! ....went for scan and the same thing again, nothing could be found! No sac or anything.

Had normal ultrasounds and internal ones and after the internal I started spotting which after a few days turned to bleeding bright red and quite heavy. The dr tested my hcg levels which were dropping and he told me I had miscarried. He has booked my into a gyno who I see tomorrow.

Anyway, at the beginning of last week my boobs started to be really sore which I just put down to maybe being due for my period.. Nothing has come so thought hmmm maybe I'll do a pregnancy test and to my shock came up positive!!!

After my miscarriage my body went bak to normal, no sore boobs etc but haven't had a period since.

Im so confused!!! How can I be pregnant when I haven't had a period since the miscarriage?!?!

You caught the egg that came right after your m/c, that would have become your first period post miscarriage!

Yes, i agree, you caught the first egg (which would have been followed by your first period if you had not conceived)

Congratulations, and sending lots of babydust and sticky vibes your way

You ovulate before your period so you don't need to have had a period first to conceive after a m/c. I fell pregnant 2 weeks after a m/c, no period. That baby is now a toddler
