Violet! Great to see you're still about Hope you're doing well and handling your 1st trimester...plus toddler! I'm imagining its going to be harder as I loved my nanna-naps during those first few months of feeling exhausted. I'm hoping my DD's day nap lasts until then

Babydalla - are you getting closer to your first scan? Hearing that heart beating is the best

Heyside - how did your bloods go? Fantastically I hope??

Sj87 - How are you going Hun? Where are you with your injections? Did you end up grabbing another injection pen? Hope all is well

Rj85 - sure Hun It was the best cycle of my life....just need one more like this....
    FSH (Gonal-F) 50iu/day
    3rd June - Cycle Day 9 - Oestrogen= 481.
    Scan=1x11mm follie, 1x12mm follie. Lining=6.5mm

    8/6 - CD14 - Oest=986
    9/6 - CD15 - Oest=1416.
Scan=1x21mm follie. Lining=13mm. Had trigger injection at 9:30am.
10/6- CD16- Had IUI followed by lots of Bding!
    24/6- 14dpo=BFP!

It was my 2nd cycle of FSH/IUI after 6months of failed Clomid cycles. Good luck for Friday Hun

AFM- my nurse yesterday must have told me a slightly wrong result! Still ok though. So me so-far=

rj85 - No worries, nice to hear other people's stories isn't it, gives you hope knowing that this process does work. Do you have any sort of cycle at all or af on a cycle without medication? Great there are lots of us girls running similar cycles on this thread, great support, good luck for Friday's scan.

Ladydee - I know what you mean about imagining pregnancy to be harder second time around with a toddler running round, my DD has just dropped her day sleep so not sure when I will manage to get any rest lol! You seem to know quite a lot about your blood results and what they mean, have the fertility clinic explained all that to you? I rang up for my results today and was only told that they are showing no surge so stick to plan of scan on Friday, maybe I should ask for a full low down on Friday so I can understand more. Good luck with your scan tomorrow, hope those follies are growing nicely .

Most of my FN just tell me my result when they call and I'm always ready with my pen! Occasionally one doesn't and so I just ask " out of curiosity, what was my Oestrogen result please?". One nurse gave me the basics when I was TTC my dd and I've picked up other bits along the way from the others. I feel like I'm getting a handle on how things go until a nurse adds a different opinion! That'd be awesome if you decide to ask so we can compare notes and see if both clinics tell us the same thing! I'm far from an expert but as far as I understand what we are all aiming for ovulation is....

    1 follicle=great, 2 follies=fine, 3 follies=parents have some deciding to do!, 4 dominant follicles=cancelled cycle
Oestrogen result of 1000 per dominant follicle (minimum of 600)
Follicle size of 20mm (minimum 16mm)
    Lining over 7mm

I keep wanting to ask about LH and Progesterone but I either get sidetracked when I'm there or I'm stressed and in a rush on my way to work! Some people get more stressed when they have an understanding of what's going on, but I feel more stressed if I don't know! The nurses at my clinic are very patient with explaining things though which is great

If I scratch my memory bank, I'm pretty sure either my FS or a FN told me follies grow approx 2mm per day for your average "Jane Doe" ( who I'm guessing doesn't have PCOS!) and a "dominant follicle" is anything over 10mm.

My DD's day sleep is getting less and less :-0 .....come on BFP, hurry up!

Ladydee- Thanks for sharing hun! Those bloods are sounding very promising, maybe this is the one!
You do know a lot about the whole process, I can't add anything but can say that my understanding is the same as yours in terms of level of oestrogen, number and size rate of growth of follies and lining. My FN doesnt ever volunteer the oestrogen and I'm often at work when they call so can't ask questions, when I do remember mine is always low, in fact last cycle it went backwards, hence the addition of hcg injections with the fsh. You also seem to get much more frequent blood tests, we get ours max 3 times a week, usually only twice.

Heyside- It's great having cycle buddies .
I've had AF twice since I went off the pill last year, last november and this july while I was waiting to restart this cycle. The first time I didn't realise I was ovulating the second time I did but despite doing some bd'ing no BFP. Before I went on the pill I used to have a 30 day cycle but I've been on it for 10 years no breaks.

    Thanks for listening ladies

    How is everyone?

Yayyy, I'm super happy with how my results are shaping up for this cycle. Just miiiight be in with a chance perhaps!

    62.5iu Gonal-F/day
    8/10 CD9 - Oest=584
    9/10 CD10 - Oest=787
    10/10 CD11- Oest=1047
    Scan=1x16mm follie, lining 11mm
Have got my trigger pen to inject tomorrow morning with my IUI booked in for Sat 9am!
SO happy to finally get over that 1000 Oestrogen mark and my lining and egg size should be perfect by Sat.......fingers crossed! The only slight dampner to my happiness is that my own FS will be away on Sat so I will have one of the other FS who I've never met doing my actual IUI. Sure hope he's gentle with zero creepy-vibes!

Ladydee - Fabulous news about your blood test results and scan, I have fingers toes and everything else possible for you and your IUI hun. I am sure the Fs whoever he/she is will take good care of you, keep us updated. You have inspired me to ask more questions tomorrow about my blood test from the other day.

rj85 - Very similar story to yourself, my cycles were regular before the pill but I also had been on it for over 10 years. Good luck for tomorrow, hopefully we both hear good news and won't be too far behind Ladydee , forgive me for asking as I am sure you have already mentioned but are you doing an IUI cycle or just timed bd????

AFM - Feeling pretty bloated now at times and something is def happening with those follies, hopefully that is confirmed tomorrow.

babydalla - Those levels are sounding great!!! Glad that everything is going well for you, how exciting getting ready to see the heartbeat, I remember with DD everything felt so real after that scan, keep us updated its great hearing positive stories

AFM - Second scan today and there has been some growth but not quite there yet, my largest follie measured nearly 14mm but I have lots and lots of follies around the 10mm size too! Suppose that is to be expected with my pcos but we are now just hoping that the largest follicle now takes off on its own and all the littlies don't grow much. We have to do no bd over the weekend just to makesure I don't fall pregnant with 6 or more bubbas lol!!!!! I was told that my lining has reached 7.3 and we are aiming for at least 8 so that looks good! I asked more questions about my bloodtest Ladydee and it seems my oest had reached over 1700 on Wednesday so that's high isn't it??? Think it might be because of all the follies developing.

Hope everyone else is doing well, hope the trigger went fine this morning Ladydee and goodluck for your IUI tomorrow. How did your scan go rj85????
