This is my first ever post so you may have to guide me how this works a bit. I too am up to cd 6 like sj87 injecting gonal-f 37.5units (low I know!) and pregnyl 75 units since day3. And like you sj87 and Heyside I also have my first scan on the 8th.
This is my 3rd cycle of OI the other two were cancelled cos of a cyst on number 1 and too many follies on number 2. I've had a bit of a break cos we went away and I wasn't allowed to do a cycle before I went.

Sorry I haven't got all your names down pat yet I'm sure it won't take long!
Sorry Rj85, I somehow missed your post! Welcome, more the merrier Sounds like you've had a rough trott with the two cancelled cycles, that's tough when you don't even make it to the TWW and therefore have zero chance if falling UTD that cycle Good luck this third cycle is the charm for both of us!

    Thanks for all the advice

I've rung FS but he's not in today so he will call me first thing tomorrow

And because my body is stupid I have another question today

I think I've ovulated... I have egg white mucus today... in the past I've never been able to find my ovulation date with the OPK tests but I haven't really thought about it this cycle cause I just kind of assumed I wouldn't until the trigger shot??

for all of you it's almost the 8th! bring on the day of testing for pretty much everyone

    Hi everyone!

Fingerscrossed- I'm so sorry to hear about that big hugs to you, hope af eases off a bit for you and you get an idea of the next step soon.

sj87- I've been on gonal-f for my cycles and had to use 2-3 pens a cycle, I had repeats on my script, but just check if you do too, I just kept getting new pens as I ran out. Also the stinging I agree with kelbel86 the cold injections always seem to feel more uncomfortable.

Ladydee- your post made me feel like I finally have people in the world who understand what I'm going through! I wish I'd found this group sooner! Hope things are all travelling well for you.

Heyside- I had a very similar scenario to you I think! Lets hope the rest made your body all ready to go!

AFM- I forgot about a bt I've got tomorrow! Otherwise the double injections are going fine.
    Sorry if I forgot anybody!

Me being a donor to my DP was mainly to give her a break from full stims.

So me going through the IUI at the end was only cause i only had the one follie.

We are going to have a little break and do acupuncture and herbs then get back into it with DP stimming. If i go again, will be just FET with her emmies

Havent spoken to my FS yet bout it all, we just want to not think about it all for the moment. Had a phone call yesterday from a nurse at the clinic to see how i was going, which was nice

sj87 - I am the same as you OPK don't work for me either with high lh. Hope things became clear with your ovulation and you covered all bases with bd just in case you did ovulate, did you ring the clinic for advice?

rj85 - nice to chat to people on here who are going through similar situations isn't it, all here to support each other. I don't speak to anyone else about all this either, no one knows what me and dh are going through yet again. Hope the bt went ok.

Fingerscrossed - Sounds like it was def worth a try doing iui this time for you seen as you had the one follie and gave your dp a rest, sorry it didn't work out for you, nice that you are both able to support each other seen as you have both been through similar procedures you will each know how the other feels. Enjoy the break and good luck for your next try.

AFM - Day 6 of injections and feel like I am feeling something going on but then later in the day I feel nothing so doubt myself and think its in my head lol! Think I need to stop over analysing. If last cycle with DD is anything to go by I have a lot of injections ahead (although I have started on a higher dose this time
    )

Fingerscrossed - sounds like you guys have a great plan of action which will get you your little miracle in no time Acupuncture is fantastic, I'm about to get back into it myself.

Rj85 - I've never heard of double injections before, do you mind me asking why you're using two types of drugs?? I'm guessing its to prevent overstimulation perhaps?

Sj87 - I had that early CM this past cycle and had the exact same fear as you also but when I queried my fn about it, she said that my first bloods of that cycle proved that I had not O'd yet. So maybe ask when you get your results back for Tuesdays bloods?

Heyside - day 6 of injections for me too and like you, I'm overanalysing stuff and then second guessing myself. Bah, hurry up Tuesday! Good luck Hun

    Hope you're travelling we'll Babydalla

Ladies who have been triggered before - when you had your trigger to O, what sort of syringe was it? Both IUI's ttc#1 I gave to myself with a normal syringe. This time the nurse injected me taking about 2 seconds with an injecting pen similar to the FSH pen.....just thought that was a little weird. First two IUI's I had a ridiculous amount of CM and bloating and stomach pains and this time I had zero CM around O-ing and no pulls or cramps. I'm just wondering if this nurse used a different kind of trigger which may not work as well for me??

    Hi everyone,

Fingerscrossed- you both sound like you need rest from treatments, it was worth a go while your DP had a break from stimms, sounds like your clinic is very supportive. All the best.

Sj-87 sorry I missed that post, did you check with your clinic what to do?

Heyside- it is great to talk to someone, I have told my mum and several very close friends but none of them get it like you guys do. What symptoms do you get, I don't get anything at all but maybe that's why mine haven't worked, not long til tues now and minds eased!

Ladydee- On previous triggers I've just injected myself with pregnyl i think it was a 1ml syringe, maybe she's using a different preparation, they would have told you though wouldn't they. And the double injections for me as far as I can understand is because I don't get very high oestrogen and therefore only a thin linning during my stims, it acts like LH i believe to boost the oestrogen produced- thats my googling understanding

AFM- bt was ok my oestrogen was 194 i think or it could have been 149 i can't remember! Anyway no changes still on the same they want me back monday for bt only so have to wait a bit longer for US i think.

Hi ladies- I've still been following all your posts. I loved this forum it helped me to get through my last two cycles. Dh had no idea about how I felt and my friends didn't get it either as they all fell pregnant by just looking at their dh and would tell me I just had to relax. Pfft right?!? And if you have read my previous posts you will see How I had different symptoms every month from the injections. I was lucky enough this time to get a bfp and have been so grateful for it but still don't quite believe it but still have to get through a number of hurdles before I can get really excited. Just to give u an update in case any one needs to refer to this one day my levels were 985 Monday and the. 5061 on Friday. Tiredness and sickness has kicked in already. I'm keeping everything crossed until next bt Friday and then my first scan the week after. I really believed accupuncture helped this time round to relax me a little.

    To u all xx

Ladydee - Not long for us now, just 2 more sleeps lol to see what's happening. Trying to think back to when I was triggered with the injection the last 2 times when trying for dd, I remember both times it was a normal syringe, the first time I was sent home with it to do myself but I got dh to do that one as it just seemed more clinical than the pen I use for the daily injections. Second time the nurse injected me at the clinic as I had two follicles and don't think she wanted any other follies to catch up before trigger so did it asap.

rj85 - Not really any symptoms as such, that's why I think it's all in my head lol! Think its more just side effects from the injection and my body just taking in the medication, whether it's working or not is another matter.

Babydalla - Great to hear from you, sounds like things are going well, take the sickness and tiredness as reassurance that things are going as they should, take the chance while you can and rest when possible. I understand you not relaxing until bt and first scan, I was the same with dd, good luck with it all and keep us updated.

AFM - I am a little confused and worried I am doing something wrong. I am using puregon 600iu cartridge so I would have presumed if I am injecting 100iu a day then I would have enough for 6 injections only. However I have just managed to do my 7th injection from the one cartridge this morning and still have a little amount in the bottom. Will start a new cartridge tomorrow but still confused . I used a 900iu cartridge last time and think because I started on 75iu and then changed to 100iu I didn't bother calculating when it should have finished.

    Still reading along here

Heyside, the actual contents of the vials is more than the amount stated on the box. Check the vial itself, it says how much it actually contains. I used a 900iu cartridge and I could always get 10 injections out of it at 100iu per shot. Not sure why they do that, but my clinic told me about it ages ago.

Im crossing my fingers for you and Ladydee this month, I'm so hopeful this will be it for you girls!! Good luck to everyone else in here!
