    Thanks babydust and becca,
How long after you were expecting AF until you had your BT at the clinic? Im now doing the TTW but then Ive got nearly a week to wait until after to BT and that just seems pointless, obviously Id know by then if BFP or not. Maybe theyve forgotten I have short cycles? (24-25 days).. or is that normal for to wait another 6 days until after AF to BT?

IUI went well, easy peasy, was just like a pap and I didnt feel anything, some mild cramping last night but no pain thankfully at all and heck it was prob just indigestion

Hope all is well in your world.

*hugs* baby dust, I'm sorry. Hope it's not too long til you can start the next round.

Cherry, i always go for a blood test a week after the trigger/IUI so they can confirm I have intact ovulated. Time between ovulation and AF arriving should be 2 weeks. Once ovulation is confirmed, my clinic tells me to wait another week and if no period, come for bloods to test for pregnancy. Everyone is different though, and the way everyone's dr/clinic does things is also different.

cool thanks Becca, guess thats fair then yeah. Im sure Im sounding bonkers on here so thanks for your patience with the newbie here.

Sorry to hear about the neg Babydust, hope there's lots of chocolate on hand - I hear there's scientific proof it does help (well only good scientists anyways).

Hope everyone is going well, really wish the sun would make more of an effort here, its easier to face the world when its gorgeous outside, although a good pillow, doona and a romcom novel are pretty good to snuggle up with on the couch sometimes too. Stay strong everyone.
    xo

Cherrycola, you definitely dont sound bonkers. Even though we've been seeing the specialist for awhile and are about to do our third round of Gonal F injections, I still feel very 'new' to all this and I swear some days the nurses at the clinic think I'm crazy lol

Onto things that I've been doing to fill in some time at home.. I'm not sure if I mentioned it but a few months ago, I bought a 'fertility bracelet' made from different crystal that have properties that assist with fertility, emotional wellbeing, positive thinking etc etc. It broke a little while ago so I got a list of all the crystals that were in my bracelet and also googled other crystals. I found a crystal/bead shop online and ordered a while bunch of crystal beads that I thought were appropriate and made my own. I've kind of become addicted to making them. I now have three of my own and have made one for a friend down in TAS. I find it quite theraputic making them. I'll probably end up with hundreds. To avoid looking like a crazy person, I limit myself to wearing two at a time. Haha

lol Becca Love the beads by the way, those are really lovely. I have a bracelet too with the fertility stones, but it keeps pinching me so its back in the jewellery box, think I might have to do the same thing as you & give this a go.

Mine don't look as professional as the one I bought but I like them because I think they're more personal and I feel more connected to them because I've made them I guess. I wish I thought of it earlier because by the time I bought all the beads and clips/crimps etc, I spent about $60 all up. My initial bracelet was $30 so considering I have already made 4 and still have lots of crystals left, it works out in the end, just wish I never wasted the first $30. Oh well..

I am such a numnut, just did the first of 2 injections (day 4 & day 8) during the TWW and managed the crack the glass vial wonky aND slice through my finger, gahhh.. stupid thing or rather stupid me. Hubby did his no problem.. sigh.. minutes before I read about how other people manage to injure themselves and here I was thinking 'thats crazy! it looks totally easy, not me!' and then i go and do it. *faceplant* ahh well. At least I didnt try to inject myself with the giant needle.. I might have tried it if I hadnt read up on some helpful hints on some of these blogs so thankfully didnt venture those painful waters.

Anyone else have fun stories on their injection woes? Its so weird to be injecting stuff into my body.. dont know how regular drug users do it, its bazaar and such an odd little ritual..

At least the sun was out today making the weekend seem totally present before another week of work, bluerk!

    xo Cherry

I recently bought some fertility and what not stones as well. Not sure how much they will help, but hey you become so desperate than you'd do anything just to increase ur chances.

AFM - i have started back on the provera tablets today, so hopefully in about 10 days max i should have AF arrive, and then we are back on the injections wagon! Woohooo cant wait LOL

    Hows everyone else doing?
    Greenfairy?
    Becca85?
    KarmaJane?

That's it Babydust, you do start giving things you'd never expected you would a try! I even bought a IVF/IUI guided meditation and have been attempting that. I'm still learning to relax my mind properly but I'm hopingit helps at least a little!

Cherry, your partner is on injections as well?
I'm sorry but I'll have to sit out on the story telling of injuries, I'm so squeamish about medical procedures and injuries.. I don't even do my own injections thanks to a needle phobia, hubby does all mine while I close my eyes, practice deep breathing to calm myself and cover my face with a scarf. Crazy, I know but atleast I've stopped freaking out and crying before every injection!

AFM, AF arrived late last night so today is technically CD1 for me. I'm collecting my drugs from the hospital tomorrow and will start injecting Thursday. First scan and bloods will be done on 23rd. Looking forward to a new cycle but also still a little anxious about the injections.

Hi girls and welcome Cherry! Thanks for asking after me Babydust, all going ok over here. I'm day 13 of round 5 of injections and hoping to trigger on Wednesday. I've just got 1 14 mm follie on the left side so thankfully we won't be canceling this time. It would be lovely if this was it but I can't get my head around that and am kinda just thinking its another step in the process. I'll do another cycle straight after this then I'm booked in for a lap on 14 dec if I'm not utd by then.

The thought of actually being utd is just weird! It feels like so long of all this cr.ap to have it finally over would be unreal. Despite not holding a lot of hope for this or the next timed intercourse cycle I have to say I've got high hopes for the lap and months following that... Fingers crossed.

Good to hear that you girls can get back into your drugs again soon and hopefully this next cycle is the one for you too.

Cherry, what injections is your partner on? I've not heard of that.

Thankfully Monday is done and it's now officially 10 weeks til Christmas..not that I'm counting
    Have a great night xx
