Happy birthday RKK! Hopefully this month's efforts will supply you with a lovely present

AFM: Off to the FS for my 4th U/S in the morning. Looks like a long cycle (when the last TWO were a perfect 28 days! Grrr)...oh well, roll with it I guess

    Hi ladies,

Have been of the radar around here lately. Partly because I've been super busy with my volunteer work, on top of my full time job (have just cut back with the volunteering as it was all getting abit much), partly because we've taken a break from TTC for a couple of months.

We just started seeing a new specialist at Westmead for IVF. She's needing to get some more up to date tesr results so can't get started this right away but we're going to see if we can get one cycle in before we go away in March. I'm thinking probably not because it may be a little rushed but we'll see how things go. Specialist said if we want to do it we can but if she were us, she'd just go an enjoy the holiday then get into it once we're back. The more I think about that, the more I think it might be a better option. I mean, we joked about the possibility of morning sickness the whole trip, which doesn't worry me too much but the reality of it is.. What if we do a cycle, I get a BFP and then something bad happens.. We've been talking about this trip for months, haven't been away for over a year now and it will probbaly be our last getaway in awhile. Will have the tests done as planned before making a final decision but one thing that is definite is... We're doing IVF.

Hi 2013IOY, I have been on Gonal F for IUI but never Puegon. Still not 100% sure what I'll be on when we start IVF. Sorry I can't be much help.

Well ladies, I just failed in my final attempt at conceiving for the forseeable future. IVF failed (got my period and negative bloods today) and DH has lost his job so we have no more money to use. Besides which the pain of it not working has gotten to be too much.

Looks like I have to get used to the idea that children are not for us. Pretty much destroys my relationship with my family (my sister is due next month) and has put me in a fairly deep depression; children has been all I've focused on for the past 3.5 years and now I feel very lost. I see a future that is very empty

Aw Karma Jane I'm so so sorry. I don't know what to say but wish you all the very best. Be kind to yourself and take some time out to wallow if you need it. Will you consider some counseling? Sounds like you've had a very long tough journey and I can understand why you're now feeling lost with no plan going forward. Hang in there and take care of each other. Big hugs

Hi ladies I'm starting my injections tonight. What is the best way to do it. Pinch a bit of skin, inject all the way then release the skin?
