Hi girls.. It's been awhile, I've missed so much! A HUGE congrats to those of you with BFP's!!
We've had 3 failed IUI's now and the FS has recommended we move o to IVF. When he first suggested it, I totally freaked out but we went to a seminar and although neither of us want to do it, we really want a baby. Because there's no answer as to why we're not falling pregnant (could be cos my tubes are a little dodgy (only one is definitely open, the other may/may not have been unblocked), hubby's sperm has a small amount of antibodies and my cycles are pretty long but no explanation as to why, FS says IVF will get passed all the possible problems.
With having spoken to FS just at the end November, we've decided to take a break until January next year. Have an appointment on the 16th Jan with a new FS as the clinic we go to doesn't do IVF there.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

    Hi becca!!

I know it's a big step moving onto ivf, but try to look at it as the next positive step to get up the duff!
I don't regret moving on to ivf one bit!! I actually wish I had moved on earlier than I did!!

Good luck with your journey love!! Xoxo

    Sorry to hear Karma *hugs*

I hope this cycle goes well for you Babydust.

Atleast there have been some BFP's in here, gives me more hope but at the same time, kinda feel like a couple of us are being left behind. I'm just going to enjoy the next couple of months and TRY not to think about TTC too much.

I feel exactly the same, Becca. Trying really hard to be happy for both online and in person pregnant ladies. Rationally I know that them being pregnant has no effect on me but some weird little corner of my brain feels as though everyone else is taking all the chances and not leaving me one! Weird, huh? Maybe it's linked to my sister having number 5 while I'm still on 0.

    Updates, Cherry? Greenfairy?

I feel like all I'm doing is waiting of late. Wasting time. It's making me kinda down. Especially as my cousin and sister are getting closer to having their boys (yep, both having boys). Not really looking forward to Christmas as I'm not going to my parents' - I still can't even look at my sister, even though my mum is still trying to sell her as a victim in the whole situation - and it'll just be me, DH and FIL at home.

Here's hoping 2013 is a whole bunch better than 2012...

Hi girls, I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling. I've kept an eye on the thread but don't want to rub in my news when obviously you ladies are having a tough time. All I can say is that I know how you feel, I saw a lot of ladies come and go during my time in the thread and it really will be you one day.

All is going well for me so far, had my first ob appointment yest and 7w6d today. I'm still very worried though and don't know how I'm going to wait for my next scan now which isn't til 14/1 - I've had three in three weeks so far. I'm terrified that I'm going to go and that heart won't be beating and bubs won't be growing. Must try and stay positive though. I'm finishing work for the year on thurs so looking forward to relaxing a bit for 3 weeks as I cruise to 12 weeks

Hang in there lovely ladies, 2013 will be your year!!

Thanks Greenfairy, I know our time will come but as you said, it's very hard seeing people come and go. Seeing people in life get pregnant without even trying/wanting it when you just want more than anything for it to be you with the next BFP. With every BFN, it's just so disappointing.

Hope everything will be fine at your scan and you're just over thinking things. xo

Hi Ladies, Sorry to see there's no further bfps around the traps, I hope the Xmas time brings bubbas for you in the new year and I honestly hope the wait is not too much longer.

Alls pretty good on this side I guess and I didnt want to be blabbin on too much & rubbing it in either but wanted to still update you lovely gals. Had my first 'confirm' scan and it went well with my FS, one little beating heart and we're scheduled with the OB in a week's time as well - wow they are uber expensive docs btw.

Im excited and nervous still but the continuous off and on nausea, bloating (I kid you not - its so so embarrassing, its worse than anything Ive seen before) and major league tiredness all the time kind of put a bit of dampner on the spirits some days. It's not all rosy is all Im trying to say, but its not super terrible I suppose too being on the next part of the journey. Even now, I keep having to remind myself to stay positive and pray for a good outcome. I hope you all can find the strength to persevere. Hugs to you all Ladies.
