All good. It was much more comfortable than last time. Last time, the clamp was uncomfortable and I got a shooting/cramping pain when the catheter went in. This time was much like the first though, just a little tiny scratchy feeling as it was going through. Its always great when things are less painful than anticipated
back in on Sunday for a blood test to check my progesterone.

    Hows everyone else doing?

Yay for your iui Becca, I wish we were doing it cause I'm over dtd and obviously so is DP.

27 injections, almost a month to finally get to trigger today and tonight DP is hanging out in the lounge waiting for me to fall asleep before he comes in so we don't have to do it. No wonder Im not preggas yet. It's never going to happen at this rate.. Fml

Awww Greenfairy Its really hard being told when to and when not to do it! I think it definitely it's extra pressure on you both and knowing that you have to do it today doesn't help.
Did he end up coming to bed before you went to sleep?

Okay so today has been my turn to cry all arvo. I saw the specialist today. Looks like IVF is going to be our only hope. Hubby's sperm has an antibody in it that they didn't think would affect things but apparently maybe that's what our problem is. We've been talking about the possibility of IVF but actually being told it's petty much our best bet has really hit me hard. I'm so sad right now. I can't even be hopeful for this TWW.. Instead, we'll be making appointments for a follow up test and then looking at IVF clinics. Awesome.

Aw I'm so sorry to hear Becca. The good news is though that your chances with IVF increase significantly and as you've already been on injections it may not be that much more involved than what you've been doing already? Also at least you know sooner rather than later. Wishing you all the very best xx

Ohhh honeys, it's not all without hope, you still have options and good people with good plans to get you to the good goal. This is a hard time and the patience factor is even harder to deal with, the daily grind makes us forget the positives around us. Look to you partners, look to your friends and families too for a hand to hold, look outside and get some sun on your skin. I sincerely believe we're working hard for a reason, and we just need to cling to that hope. I feel your frustration so much but gotta keep positive.

I'm trying to focus my attentions elsewhere, enjoy having energy to burn and I'm gonna go horse riding on the weekend - cant do that anytime I like if I'm knocked up, so figured I better get in quick - also I'm doin this extreme 4x4 thingy that pregnant chicks shouldn't do.. maybe you could figure out some things you won't be able to do too? It'll let you look outside of the TTC bubbles and have a bit of fun babes, I'm sure it affects our partners too so take em along if you can

I'm off to scannage today to see how my follies are coming along, hoping its all good as I've had the weirdest week since AF, the drugs are messing with my system a bit I think. Big virtual hugs loves.
    Xxxx
