Default TTC with a FIFO DH

So DH and I are going to start ttc very soon. I'm on the pill and will stop taking it tomorrow On e of the hurdles we have though, is that DH works away for three weeks every month. It's a bit early to chart my cycles (prior to havind DD and going on the pill my cycles wqere pretty crazy and I was dx with PCOS).

Anyway, sorry fro the ramble does anyone know if I could manipulate when I ovulate using the pill?

I'm pretty clueless about all this, DD was our happy little accident so I'm a bit worried that now we're actually trying it'll be hard!

Thanks in advance for any help

I don't know the answer, but I know in animals, they use hormones all the time to synchronise cycles & ovulation. Often done in sheep/cattle. With horses, if you give a mare prostaglandin, you can time the mating with a stallion!!

I guess use of hormones is not done in humans unless there's a specific issue. Would be nice to cut out all the waiting if a cycle is unsuccessful!

Not sure if using the pill would help manipulate your cycle, as your cycles could vary wildly once you come off it.

Will be curious to read about this one! Good luck!

I don't think you can really. You don't want to mess with your body that much. I think you should definitely chart, hope for the best, and maybe see a FS if it never aligns and discuss other options.
