Decided on tacos. Yes there's a bit of washing up but not too much.

    Thanks for the suggestions people!

Orzo pasta with whatever is lying around. Works as a side or as a meal. As a side, I mix in frozen peas, mushrooms, onions, and carrots. As a meal, I use cooked leftover chicken, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts (jarred is fine), and carrots.

Brown Orzo and onions in butter until golden. Add chicken stock, simmer until absorbed. Add other ingredients (pre-cooked) and top with 1/2-1 cup parmesean or romano cheese and let sit 5 minutes. (Refer to the package for amounts. I don't know for sure, sorry

Fast, easy, one pot, makes heaps.

I LOVE orzo pasta, DH refuses to eat it. He said the other day "this stuff tastes like pasta" - I was like it IS pasta you fool! He hates it regardless.

Well I made a Moroccan chicken and quinoa salad with spinach and snow peas for dinner tonight and there's loads left for tomorrow's lunch. So easy and yum!

I make a quick microwave rice on nights when i cbf.
Just put a cup of rice in a microwave safe bowl with a knob of butter, cook for 1 min, take out add 1 3/4 cups water, a stock cube and what ever veg i have (usually a grated carrot, zucchini etc), a bit of garlic and cook for around 11 mins - voila, easy and tastes pretty good. I sometimes add a small tin of tuna once it is cooked also. Doesn't make too much mess and takes no time at all

I CBF doing anything fancy either OP so we're having a family sized Sergeants chunky beef pie with mash sweet potato and veges. Only uses 2 pots, potato masher, plates and cutlery.

I had quinoa already cooked from the other night, and a chicken breast to use up. Pan fried it with some seasoning and chucked in a bowl with salady bits I had and the leftover quinoa. Deelush
