I've just signed up to do a apprenticeship I am meant to do 21.5 hours a week. Friday I get a text message off my boss telling me they are closed Saturday so the last who works Saturday now needs to work Monday so I'm not needed.
Monday I work 8.5 hours the other days are 4.5 I only work 4 days a week so this week I'll do 13.5 hours.
A friend told me that my boss should still have to pay me as I have to do 21.5 hours a week, does anyone know if this is true?
Also since I'm permenent part time is she allowed to just cut my shifts?
The only reason I agreed to do a apprenticeship and take a pay cut was because I though it would make my job/hours secure!
