    Default Nightmares

    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone else have bad dreams. I have had at least 4 bad dreams since I found out I was pregnant 6 weeks ago. I would dream that my OB did a scan and found out my bub had a problem with its spine. I would also dream that my bub died in my uterus and I had to get it out. I dreamt of its red bloodied small thighs and arms, and it's long red lifeless body.....

I don't know why I keep having these bad dreams.... How can I stop?

    Default Nightmares

I've had nightmares all pregnancy and I'm 28 weeks now.

I didn't know what to do until someone suggested its because I'm overheating at night. So I decided to only wear undies to bed, no pants no socks no jumpers. Also only have one doona as opposed to that and a blanket.

    I haven't had a nightmare since!!

Hope that works for you too, it's a little uncomfy at first coz it's a bit chilly getting into bed, but I am never cold at night!

I've been having some ridiculous dreams lately too (last night, terrorists took over my local shopping centre and i was trapped, also had one later where a colleague was kidnapped and suspected murdered in Germany) and I agree that it's probably because I'm overheating as we still have winter blankets on the bed. I'm due to change the sheets today so might take a blanket off to see if that helps.

Thanks. I'm a little sceptical about this overheating issue but I'll give it a try. I've been sleeping with a hot water bottle as it seems to ease my cramps so I'll stop using that. I'll also change my blanket tonight so fingers crossed.
