    Default Throw some ideas at me

    I need some brainstorming ideas, everyone. The last 2 nights DS (2.5) has woken every couple of hours (at least) all night. He's looking at a repeat performance tonight. He has slept through since he was about 1, except when he is sick. He's not sick, so far (i would have thought we'd have some sort of symptoms by now if he was) and there's been no change in his routine that i can think of, apart from toilet training, it couldn't be that, could it? the weather hasn't changed dramatically, no big changes at home... I'm at a bit of a loss. Ideas, anyone?

    Nope, that could be it. Can they take a long time to come in? In the past it's been really obvious when he's been teething, red cheeks, drooling, crying in pain etc. He just wakes up and gets restless, he's not overly upset or distressed, just enough to need some help getting back to sleep. He doesn't seem to be in any pain, and he would tell us if he was in pain.

    Can take about 6 weeks on average. Perhaps it just a mild discomfort at the moment?

    Yep, my firth thought was teeth.

    Others:

    Scared of the dark (my 2.5y DD has just started this);
    Thirsty;
    Cold/Hot;
    Have your neighbours coming and going hours changed?;
    Just wants mummy/daddy close;
    Growing pains;
    Bad dreams...

    That's all I've got.

    Thanks guys. I don't think he's scared or having nightmares, just more like he's tired but can't stay asleep for whatever reason. I'm now thinking teeth, that seems likely that they're just bothering him enough to wake him up but not actually hurt.

    Sorry to barge in OP but could you tell me more about what symptoms kids have with worms. I'm beginning to wonder if this is my DDs problem as she keeps scratching her behind.
