I'm the same. I like to go to specialty coffee shops and select my beans, and I always buy organic free trade.

We've had two different nespresso machines but recently upgraded to a Saeco Intellia. We got over the nespresso pods and decided to purchase our own beans. We live in the Swan Valley in WA so we go to a place here for our beans. But I'm not drinking any coffee at the moment as it doesn't agree with me!

I have a Saeco Via Vienta and it is about 10 years old, but never misses a beat.

It's fully manual, and I grind my beans for each cup. I don't like being held to ransom by pod companies (they're more expensive per cup, and I'm not hot on the flavours and strengths).

I manually de-scale every 3 months, it has a milk frother that I use for DD, and a hot water spray.

I use it every day, it's the first thing I say good morning to!
