    Default Placenta previa

So, does anyone have experience with complete placenta previa? *freaking out!*
I had my 19 week us today and the sonographer confirmed pp. which explains the previous bleeding... My OBGYN isn't back until Monday. I have been told to go to the hospital for any bleeding in the meantime.... I'm very worried! any advice, experience is appreciated.

I have only 1 of the risk factors (previous c section) so now my scheduled elective c section is not so elective and will probably be bought forward. I currently live 50 mins from the nearest hospital, have a 4yo and am on my own a lot! Aarrgghh!

I had placenta previa with my second child. Found out at 16-17 wks when I had a big bleed. I also had a 4 year old! I was on bed rest for a few weeks and then had to take it easy for the rest of the pregnancy. I didn't have any more bleeds and at a scan around 32 weeks I was told my placenta had moved just far enough from my cervix to be ok. But I ended up having a csection at 37 weeks anyway due to my placenta deteriorating/no longer functioning.

It was quite stressful. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful. Most of the time everything turns out just fine according to my ob.
