Default Re: Dr thinks i have pcos...now what??

I have PCOS also. Bigger than most women, as I am insulin resistant. We started trying for our first bub when we got married in '08. Tried Clomid, only ovulated once in 6 cycles. Then went to FSH injections. Both cycles I O'd, but didn't fall. Took a break back in May as was booked in for laparoscopy in August. Had a routine blood test done prior to the op, and was told I was pregnant!! 4 years of trying and to fall naturally was amazing!! Never give up hope, you never know what will happen!!

Default Dr thinks i have pcos...now what??

I too have PCOS. I conceived my son after 6 months of trying and this time around I need Clomid to help me TTC as I wasn't ovulating (although I ovulated the month before starting Clomid after 12 months of not ovulating regularly).

I too have PCOS - with insulin resistance, excess hair growth & adult acne. My PCOS even comes with 24 day cycles despite not O'ing!

Anyway - a low GI diet & regular exercise will help. I lost 1.6kg in a month doing this (then fell off the wagon!)

Anyway I am now pregnant with #3 - Naturally. All I did different was take multi vitamins. And threaten my body that we'd start fertility treatment!! Suddenly I O'd on my own :what: Weight can be a factor... however I am 15kg heavier now than when I fell with #2 and 30kg heavier now than when I fell with #1!
