Default Re: DS has croup again

My Dr told me that it's common for kids to get it again after the first time.
DS has only had it once so far. Fingers crossed never again.

I had never even heard of croup until this year!! I'm amazed it is so common and yet no one I knew had it.

    Default DS has croup again

Both asthma and croup are bronchial related illnesses. I am by no means a doctor. I just suggest going to see one.

I think the money we have spent has been well worth it. I was over the Medicare threshold for most of the time coz I have a new baby who I had privately so most consults didn't cost much. Even if they had my dd is worth every penny.

I still say go get a medical opinion.

I don't think there is anything you can do to prevent it, but I do think generally building immunity and shooting up a child against sickness can help. I'm no expert tho, my kids don't get it, but we have a couple of kiddie friends that do do I looked into it a bit.

OMG lol @ my typos. I'm not recommending anyone give heroin to their child, i meant 'shoring up' not shooting up... And I meant 'body', not Nobby
