Default What is the strangest thing you have ever found in you food?

I've had string in a burger patty, wood in a tin of tomatoes, maggots in biltong, a birds feather is a marks & spencer salad

Probably heaps more that I don't remover

Oh recently I found moths and webs in some prepackaged almonds

Hundreds of wheevels (sp?) in a brand new tin of baby formula, cockroach head in yoghurt, mould around the rim of a new not out of date bottle of milk, a broken fingernail in a slice of wedding cake (incidentally it also had a pretty pink French manicure....) Melted plastic in a BLT sandwich

If anyone remembers Sizzlers, I found a used tissue in the pasta
How'd the deer feel about being eaten ?

My mum knows a woman who found a funnel web spider in her grapes. It was one of those pre-packaged bags of grapes and when she took the bag out of her fridge she found it in there. It was alive but fairly inactive from being in the fridge.

Seriously, I would never get over that! Terrifying.
