Default What is the strangest thing you have ever found in you food?

A caterpillar in some steamed veges from a chinese restaurant.

And I recently found a small chunk of concrete in a soup from woollies!

Thanks everyone! I think I will save all the messages in this thread, and then after bub is out when I'm looking to lose weight... the solution is here! I am never eating anything again.
When I worked at a restaurant, I once served someone (accidentally of course) a live spider on their salad! The lettuces and everything were very well washed and the place was always spotless, so I guess there is no preventing it. The customer was very good about it though, even told us not to kill it but release it into the wild for a second chance lol.

    GROSS!!!!
At my high school canteen I got a bit of plastic in a salad roll. Couple weeks later bought another salad roll and it had a squashed mosquito in it!
Those are my only two horror stories that I can think of though ^____^
Although when I was really little (primary school aged) some moths laid babies in my froot loops and I didn't know what it was so I ate it :/ woops.

Off topic....but I once gutted a deer, accidentally nicked the stomach, it burst open and there was a mood ring in there!
We ate the deer....so does that count?

If anyone remembers Sizzlers, I found a used tissue in the pasta

ABC extra gum in my popcorn.... at the end of the movie /box.

I got a free lady bug with yesterday's lettuce.

I have done a coupole of food handling courses, the things I saw in the training videos are worse then most of these.
