    Agree with pp, I think our customer service industry pales in comparison to the USA, they bend over backwards there to give good service as they want your tip, which I am very happy to give for good service

    I love the way the MOTHERS are frogiven for everything. "I snapped at my child today" "oh honey, we aren't perfect, we are doing the hardest job in the world it's ok", but heaven forbid that anyone in a low paying employment sector could dare be having a bad experience. The claws are out, and the attitude is flying. Seriously, some people need to relax.

    We all have bad days but it doesn't mean we should take our frustrations out on other people. It's just not right or professional. If that was my employee I would be having a quiet word to her to let it be known that it's not ok and it shouldn't happen again. Yes she is human and we all make mistakes but we also need to be held accountable for them otherwise we miss the important lesson.

    Seriously? I didn't say I was at all perfect at what I do. But it's a job and I respect my employer why would I choose to take things personally which would effect his business?

    And yes customer service has gone to sh!t (not everywhere but it's definitely noticeable a lot more then it used to be) I am sick of having to deal with incompetent employees. And this isn't about low or high paying jobs (why take it to that level?) what are you trying to prove? If you are so fortunate to not come across bad service (in the high or low paying sector) then your either extremely lucky, ignorant or don't mind paying for cr@p service. I sure as hell get sick of it!

    I don't know what your trying to prove with the whole mother thing as its so irrelevant to this thread and pointless as its nothing alike this situation.

    I have been a waitress and yes people can be ars3holes but that's no excuse to be rude.

    I feel bad for the cafe owner, times are tough for small business and it sounds like the staff aren't doing any favors.

    Excuse me? I think I was pretty clear with my point. I am 'chill" as you say, I am just saying, quite calmly, that no one is ever perfect. Apparently we expect others to be though. Now, why don't you refrain from throwing some of that attitude you claim to dislike on others at me, thanks.
