    Default Parenting Payment HELP please!!

    I am a little confused...

I am currently on a parenting payment and have been told I now need to report my income each fortnight.

I'm wondering.. how does my income affect my parenting payment? Is it a sliding scale? Or if I earn too much do I not get any parenting payment at all?

So, if my income changes each week - does the amount of parenting payment change each week too? or is it a - you get it all or not at all situation?

    TIA

I'm on PPS. Income does affect it. You can earn $173 a fortnight without it being affected, but after that Centrelink takes 40c in every dollar that you earn from your payment.

I've just gone through this in the last week.

    Thanks very much!

They also said that if I get 0 from my PP for 13 weeks in a row then this also affects my child care rebate - do you know if this only affects the % or I just don't get any at all anymore?
