Default Procrastination at it's finest.. My girls list

This is much more exciting than my 3000 word assignment due next week.

We have pretty much settled on a boys name.
    But stuck for a girl
    Middle name with be Katherine
This is a very rough list -

    Audrey
Daisy (already have one girl with a flower name..?)
    Olive
    Adelaide
    Clementine (worried about 'clemmy')
    Maisy
    Polly
    Mabel (DH loves this one!)
    Ivy

I have two boys with sort of old fashioned type names and a girl with an old fashioned flower name.

    Hit me.

I love Daisy! And it sounds so lovely with Katherine as m.n.

Clementine is gorgeous but too long with Katherine IMO. Like Tiny for n.n.

Adore Maisy - was on my list until DP vetoed it. Olive is cute but becoming popular I think, ditto Ivy. Mabel and Adelaide are also cute.

Don't like Polly or Audrey (not sure why though? They're nice names, but meh to me!)

Good point about it being too long.
I think Daisy is my fave today. DS2 was going to be Daisy, but wasn't for obvious reasons. The we had it for DD by she didn't look like a Daisy at all. She was all dark and pointy! DS2 is all round and blonde and could definitely pass for a Daisy if he was a girl IYKWIM!!

Totally know what you mean! A Daisy must be sunny with a bit of chub and a constant fresh smile

The one's from your list that I like best are:

    Audrey
    Olive
    Mabel
    Ivy

I think I like Mabel best, Ivy a close second.

Ivy or Daisy or Adelaide. I think two flower names out of four kids is acceptable and I don't really think of a flower when I hear Ivy anyway (Waitttt Ivy's a plant....never mind?)

Have heard Maisy quite a bit lately and really can't picture it on anyone older than 5 years old....

Would also like to throw in Penelope (Penny) for consideration

So funny you should say that as DH thought of that one the other night, but I've shut up shop on the list and not adding anymore!
I think 2 flower names could be OK... Might get a few eyebrow raises but my kids names do sometimes anyway.
