    Default Could I be pregnant?

Hello all, I am new here and seeking wisdom from those who have been in a similar situation or have knowledge about my situation in general. Here is a time line of events:

June 12 - I stopped taking BCP after about a year of use.
June 16 - I had some of the worst cramps ever.
June 17 - I started my period. Not sure if this is considered a withdrawal bleed? It was like a regular period for me which lasted 5 days.
July 16 - Next period started, which lasted 5 days and was normal besides the fact that I did not have any cramps, which is unusual for me.
August 9 - Next period which was normal and lasted for 5 days.
August 16 - I had sex with my BF in which he only put on a condom after 5 or so minutes of going bareback. He did not ejaculate in me but may have "pre-ejaculated" which leads me to -
Today September 10, going into 11 - 28 days since my last period and anxious.
Should I take a test? Or wait a bit a longer?

    Default Could I be pregnant?

I'd say it's unlikely if your period was due on a 28 day cycle you would of been fertile from the 17, the 16 is too many days before ovulation to fall pregnant. Your period was due on the 5th even if you ovulated later which could be why your period is late the sperm def would not of survived that long.

That's what I thought. If I am pregnant it will be a miracle... Maybe feeling anxious is making my period late?

Only way to know for sure is to take a test. I wouldn't rule it out completely, anything is possible, but it is unlikely.

My periods have been a bit all over the place since coming off BCP 5 months ago. I've heard it can take 6-12 months to go back to normal.

Lol that is so true! She only comes after you tell someone you are "worried".

I'm glad it worked out for you Melicious. Btw I got pg with dd1 when we dtd on day 9 of my cycle so I think it would have been possible for you, if unlikely, but possible...

Or af will 99% of the time show the same day you test to see why she is late.
