Default Braxton Hicks easing before onset of labour?

Has anyone experienced BH contractions slowing down a lot towards the end of their pregnancy?

I've had BH since 16 weeks and the last month or so quite frequent. But the last ~2-3 days I've only had two or so a day. Very unusual for me. I'm 38 weeks and I had first bub at 38+6 so I'm wondering if this might be the "calm before the storm"??

Default Braxton Hicks easing before onset of labour?

Mine eased up just recently, but it turned out I had a virus, so my body obviously shut down in a way...

Default Braxton Hicks easing before onset of labour?

I started feeling them at 9 weeks and I'm only 11 weeks pregnant. I don't wanna know how it would feel at 30 weeks coz it's painful enough already
