    Default Naturopath ????

    Hi All,

Ive been ttc for 2 1/2 years, tried naturally for 1 year did IUI for 7mths manages to get 4 weeks pregnant then lost it. Tried naturally again as really didn't want to do IVF at all and as I am 39 it was only a 23% chance of success.
Anyway, my father inlaw suggested a Naturopath who seems fantastic,he organised tests including a saliva test which we found out I was low in progesterone, and also had some inbalance in hormones ie ph level in mucus was not right.
So have been taking vitex for the last 4 months and natural progesterone for 3 months and still nothing yet.. I have an appointment with him this week but was wondering has anyone else seen a naturopath and had results sooner or was prescribed something else that i should be taking. I probably sound inpatient but Im concerned about my age and chances : (
I am based in Perth and have read of another naturopath in Cott that has 86% success rate. Mine doesnt claim a success rate. Should i stick to my current or change ?

Thank you for reading and wishing everyone a little baby soon xxx

Rebecca Tanner is fabulous. I saw her @ NatMed years ago. I wouldn't recommend that place though & I don't know where she is now. Maybe they would direct you to her, otherwise try a google search

I credit my naturopath 100% with my current successful pregnancy after a missed mc last year. I'm now 25 weeks.

She treated me with a mixture of naturopathy and accupuncture, and within 2 cycles I was pregnant with a sticky, healthy bub. I was given Ovarianne, Motherhood FT2 (chinese herbs), and a couple of others to deal with specific issues (thyroid & stress levels). Once I got pregnant she just continued me on the Motherhood FT2 and accupuncture.

I am 31, so age may be another factor in the length of time it takes...but still, I'd maybe try another naturopath if you don't feel like you are getting results with your current one. I looked for one that specialied in fertility.

Good luck hun! I hope you get your sticky bub soon x
