    Default Discharge in early pregnancy...

    What's normal?
Ive heard a white or clear thin discharge is normal?
The midwife told me today not to be concerned about thick, slightly yellow discharge aswell?
    What are your expetiences?

I think the extra discharge is due to the mucous plug forming. Thick and yellow is definitely normal I think, especially if you've had no new sexual partners and it's not thrush-like.

    Default Discharge in early pregnancy...

I had really thick discharge early in my last pregnancy (and it seemed to continue most of the way through) and it looks like its happening again this time.

As long as your not experiencing any itching or bad odors with it then it's pretty normal.

    Default Discharge in early pregnancy...

I've had everything from clear mucous; to creamy white, to yellow.. Even a tinge of green once!! U'll just have to figure out whats normal for u..

Generally, if it doesnt smell off, and there's no itching or burning, u should be fine. If ur worried, pop down to ur GP and get a swab done. I've done it a couple times, and once I actually had an infection (no symptoms) that needed a round of antibiotics
