Yep, I hear ya, the milk alternatives are all pretty gross if you ask me.

A lot of people that are intolerant of gluten are intolerant of oats too, so the oat milk is a bit of a gamble in my humble opinion - even if it ends up being technically gluten free.

When I was drinking coffee I ended up just having it black because I couldn't tolerate diary OR soy. Boooo... In the end I had to ditch the coffee because I couldn't tolerate it either... I'm still in mourning... lol.

So much so that every now and then I have one anyway and always regret it (yes, I think it qualifies as addiction for me!)

i will not be giving up coffee no way no how lol the last one i had was doable but yer not 100 percent lol.

I feel for you having to give up coffeethat sucks

I used to drink Liddells Lactose Free milk which was the best lactose free non soy etc milk imo. I'll check it out to see if it's gluten free. It's UHT in the same aisle as Soy etc.

ETA: It says it's good for those who are gluten free too: http://www.liddells.com.au/lactose-f...se-free-dairy/

Default Cows milk alternative for coffee, that tastes nice

    Hi!
It took my husband 3 attempts to get into soy milk (lactose intolerance) and he reckons that the VitaSoy "Soy Milky" tastes the most like milk... He also prefers the one in the fridge section rather than the long life.
Maybe you could give it a go if you haven't already tried that one...

    Very much a personal choice.

My partner LOVES his soy milk (especially in coffee), but is very fussy about what type. He likes So Natural and Vitasoy, but can't stand So Good and some others. So one suggestion: Try different brands.

Personally, I REALLY dislike soy milk in coffee. Love soy milk generally, but for coffee it completely overpowers the flavour. If I HAD to, I'd probably use oat milk (or lactose free milk, if it was due to lactose).

Unfortunately it'll probably be trial and error... trying different products, and different brands.

If its lactose you can't have try Zymil milk. It's also gluten free. Takes amazing and has full fat and low fat options, as well as a UHT option (which only comes in low fat)
It tastes like just normal milk

I have soy milk as that's what I have for everything else. I admit it took about 6 months to get used to it in Tea...

My hubby and I both reckon soy milk in tea tastes like cardboard! Lol.

You DO get used to it though
