Default Cows milk alternative for coffee, that tastes nice

Ok i wil start by saying that this IS a first world post

Now i have found i can no longer have gluten or dairy and that is fine no worries how ever i am a serious coffee addict and well frankly im in no hurry to give up that addiction so dont bother suggesting it lol

So i know there is soy milk and almond milk and rice milk any maybe more im not to sure but i want to know what tastes the nicest

Right now im drinking a Soy latte with vita soy organic soy milk made from whole soy beans and well this is take 3 as the others was rank, With out sugar it tasted like concrete ( i can usualy drink coffee with out sugar ), then added sugar and it was still rank, I then tried making it with watering down the milk before frothing it as thought maybe it was to thick, This one i have made with a double shot of coffee, and watered down the milk and then added two sugars its the best one so far but has a taste of pancake batter to it

So whats the best one, Please im desperate lol i will not survive with out coffee lol

Try almond milk if you like it you would be able to make it yourself if you wanted, in your thermochef, it'll be cheaper that way.

Soy is gross, unless in smoothies.

I quite like soy milk. I've had almond milk for a while .. I could drink it when I was desperate but it wasn't nice.

I don't mind almond milk. Oat milk is ok but not sure if it would go with coffee?

Im not sure if it's GF. I think I use vitasoy brand. I find oat is sweeter so I like it in coffee and cooking.

Oat milk is good, it's quite sweet. I use it for baking mostly and rice milk I use for more savory things.

    Hi Nowhere!

Yep, I hear ya, the milk alternatives are all pretty gross if you ask me.

A lot of people that are intolerant of gluten are intolerant of oats too, so the oat milk is a bit of a gamble in my humble opinion - even if it ends up being technically gluten free.

When I was drinking coffee I ended up just having it black because I couldn't tolerate diary OR soy. Boooo... In the end I had to ditch the coffee because I couldn't tolerate it either... I'm still in mourning... lol.

So much so that every now and then I have one anyway and always regret it (yes, I think it qualifies as addiction for me!)
