I've been there. In our case DH is fine and I am the one with issues (PCOS and Endo). We ttc for 2 years and I ended up using IVF. Completely worth it though now we have DD (3 months).

I had a friend get pregnant while we were ttc and I didn't want to go over to her house after she announced her news because I knew others would ask when we were going to have kids. We told them we were 'thinking about it', which was true enough - I was thinking about it every second of every day!

I found talking to people in my situation on BH really helped because most people don't understand what you are going through, and often manage to say the wrong things with the best intentions.

Yes that is so true.alot people say to me your young you have plenty of time.this is true but doesnt make every month of disappointment and heartache any easier.we are going to try ivf next yr if intrauterine insemination doesnt work.glad to hear ivf worked for you! Hope it does for us too.

Infertility is tough and I think normally the woman has a lot more invested in it emotionally. You'll find lots of support on here. Some of us have been trying for years (its been 2 years for me and 4 cycles of ivf) but almost everyone gets pregnant In the end, especially if you are young. You just might need to try a few different things before you have success.

I hope you get preggers soon

Yep, same situation here, except I had PCOS and DH also had a small issue with his erm... 'swimmers', so we had double trouble so to speak. We sort treatment when we had been TTC for 16 months. Had all the tests and specialist booked, though in the 2 months we waited for the appointment I had regular accupuncture sessions and found out I was preggas a few days before our appointment. Not sure if the accupunture was the key or whether it was coincidence, but I had it throughout my pregnancy as well, and had successful induction treatments when I went overdue. Anyway, I have 2 kids now without fertility treatment, just the accupuncture. It is something that really relaxes me, so I think that was the key for us to fall pregnant.

TTC is such an exhaustive and emotional process to go through when you're in this position, so even if it helps to relax your body - and more importantly, your mind -it can't hurt.

Through all the tears and frustration I always believed that whilst my body had its barriers, I would not allow them to be insurmountable and I would get there in the end. It is certainly hard to keep positive month after month though, so i'm glad you have this forum and the support of those that have been there or are going through it now.

    Good luck with your journey.
