Default Wedding outfit for a 6 month old boy?

    Hi all!

My mum is re-marrying next month and DF, DS (5 months old atm) and I are off overseas for the big day!
This will be the first time our families meet our son!

I just don't know what he should wear to the wedding!! I don't like white clothes on him as he is really pale and it washes him out! he also only has about two strands of blonde hair!

I don't want him to dress like an adult, I want him to be comfortable but smart!

    Any advice??

Depends what season and how formal the wedding is - but DS went to a wedding with us around the same age during summer and wore a nice blue & white checkered long sleeve shirt with collar and beige shorts. Bought both from GAP.

My ds came to a Wedding when he was 9 months old and I bought him a baby boy suit off ebay. From memory it was only around $30 and it was great. He also wore it to my cousins birthday party that was formal themed. Everyone loved it on him. Have a look on ebay. I would recommend sewing the buttons on yourself as they tend to come off these type of clothes (cheaply made), but really your little boy would look adorable in a cute little suit.

Otherwise go to Myer or Mothercare and look at their clothes for little boys. They have some really nice dressy type outfits.

I took my boys to a couple of dressy events when they were babies. They wore nice pants but still soft and elastic waist with a button up collared shirt. Bodysuit underneath for warmth. Had a cute jacket too but it wasn't really cold enough. Myer have gorgeous things, or pumpkin patch have shirts... Even target has a lot.

Something like this from oobi with navy pants/jeans and a shirt or long sleeve body suit underneath should be dressy enough.

I bought DS a little onsie that had a novelty tie and suspenders. I teamed this with a cute pair of pants with an elastic waist and then added a nice cable knit jumper. When it got too warm the jumper came off but the onsie was long sleeve so he was still fine. I'll try to pm you a picture.
