Default Relieving the pain of a bruised muscle

Ok so this may sound silly but I need some suggestions for helping with relieving the pain caused by a bruised muscle. Im taking panadol but it's not helping? I'm 27w pregnant so anti-inflamitories(sp?) are out of the question???

All suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated

    TIA
