You don't have to fast or eat different for the 1 hour gd, just for the 2 hour.

I am so tired these days, I suppose just getting prepared for life with a bub! I think that's the thing I'll miss the most, my sleep

I am really surprised that so many on this thread have GD! I had never heard of it until I was pregnant. Are certain people in a higher risk category? I've put on a lot of weight so far (usually normal weight range) and I do like my sweets!!!

Random question - have any of you given though to cord blood banking / cord blood and tissue banking? I just received info this morning so will need to have a good look through. I know one of my SILs did it with her 2nd child. She paid all at once - apparently you pay for 18 years and then they get rid of it....

Yep - so tired. I get more tired when bubs is going through a big growth spurt. Yes we better get used to not sleeping well...

Yes, very tired, still in bed writing this lol... Though having said that when I wake up at 4 or 5 am I can never get back to sleep.

Do your bellies feel really heavy by the end of the day? Sometimes I think bubs is lying across my pelvis and it is sooo uncomfortable and heavy.

Have read a bit on blood banking but we haven't really discussed it. Half of me thinks it's a great idea as you never know what curve ball life is going to throw you.

    Default IVF Babies Due Jan/Feb/Mar 2013 #3

Lol that how I feel with my baby shower..... Ours will either be the 5th or 12th of Jan. To me it is a silly time as Christmas is so draining. It's also going to be seriously hot by then but what can I do? Need to please everybody......
I am so over being pregnant lol the mood swings and anxiety, can't stand seeing myself in the mirror, can't find anything to wear that looks descent, the bloating and breathlessness!!!! I just wonder if it would be different if I was thinner. I'm also hoping baby comes early and I'm frightened this baby is going to be massive!!!! In the last couple of days I've felt like a pinching in my upper thigh and pains in the tummy, I don't know if it was Braxton hicks or what, lol I don't know what anything is going to be like or feel like I'm absolutely clueless!!!!!

Hi Meshell it sounds like we are having pretty similar pregnancies - although you're a couple of weeks ahead. I too am feeling pretty good just occasionally emotional and tired and achy when bubs is going through a growth spurt.

How exciting that your baby shower is coming up....jealous! I'm not having one but will certainly get lots of visits and pressies at the hospital once little mr or little miss has arrived.

How good are tacos?! I could eat them EVERY day haha!

It'll be very interesting to see when bubs comes - we have lots of family and friends with birthdays in Feb, not to mention valentines day a week before my due date and my nephew's (my parents first grandchild) 1st birthday exactly a week later. Not that I'm really into it - but if bubs comes before Feb 10th then it will just get into being born the year of the Dragon which is supposedly the 'best' one, other we will have a little snake hehe!

Just booked in for my 28 week scan on the 28th November - can't wait!
