Just a 'me' update - had a very active baby this weekend which was great but this morning nothing so far! I haven't felt bubs since last night, though I'm pretty sure I felt it change positions last week so will be harder to feel maybe...

Went to Bunnings and picked up three sample pots of paint for the nursery. We already have Antique White USA for the architraves and ceiling. I picked Cream USA, which is quite a creamy cream, then one called Sand Diamond which is a gorgeous pale creamy yellow. The other one is called Silken Blue - but is a colour which totally could be classed as a blue or a lilac so would work either way. Will have to put them on the wall in the week or so and make our choice - painting getting done at end of October - woo hoo!

Also, not sure if this has happened to any of you...We had our 20 week scan on the 28th Sep - last Wednesday someone from the ultrasound place called and said there had been some technical glitches with the images showing up on reports, so I have to go in and have my scan again (not the full scan, just parts of it)...so I'm doing that tomorrow, plus got our OB appointment tomorrow too...

Anyway enjoy your Monday ladies and the week ahead
I say any excuse to see bubs again is a good one, technical glitch or not

    Hi All

Really glad you put the roll call on again ill have to update myself at some stage when i get more time today.

Is the boy/girl roll call up to date? I feel like we had a couple more known than is on there. 3 sleeps until my scan!

SL - I also only feel bubs sometimes, its been a lot quieter the last few days than it was last week, althought i did feel it last night and im sure I will feel it again soon enough - I hope! But i do feel stressed when i dont feel it.

    H there everyone,

great to hear everyone is dong so well. Choosing nursery is a great exciting time.

For those of you about to start mat leave can I ask how many weeks you are?

With my first I worked right up until I was in labour! Finished my clinic and then went straight to birth suite after a days work! I was 38 plus 4 days. Baby came early despite been a primip.

This time it's number two and I'm much bigger in size compared to first bub and wondering when people were stopping? I personally couldn't justify going off before 36 weeks as I'd feel too quilty not earning money ( as I don't get mat leave pay from govt or from work). Also I'm not sure what I'd do with myself! I love working although it is hard this time round with number two. With number one you can rest whenever you want sleep as long as you want but with number two you still have to look after number one so resting and sleeping aren't options. So just wanted to know when most people start their mat leave and why? I'm thinking this time I may have to stop at Xmas time ( 35 weeks) due to size alone. I'm nor mally slim 60 kg but now there's a huge bump and people are asking me if I'm due next month already!!!cthey say you are bigger second time round and I think thats possibly true. So I'd love to knownwhen mot stop work and appreciate an opinion .

    Cheers everyone xx
